The Tonsils- what are they?
These are lymphoid aggregates in the mouth. "Lymphoid" is a medical
term that refers to special cells of the immune system. Fortunately, the
bodies immune system takes over fighting infection, which means the
tonsils can be removed without any significant impact. |

These are also lymphoid aggregates but at the back of the nose. |
